Radar Maneuvering Target Detection Based on Product Scale Zoom Discrete Chirp Fourier Transform

Long-time coherent integration works to significantly increase the detection probability for maneuvering targets. However, during observation time, problems that often tend occur are range cell migration (RCM) and Doppler frequency (DFCM), due high velocity acceleration of target, which can reduce In this regard, we propose a new approach, based on product scale zoom discrete chirp Fourier transform (PSZDCFT). Specifically, by introducing operation into modified (MDCFT), (ZDCFT) correctly estimate centroid rate linear frequency-modulated signal (LFM), regardless whether parameters LFM outside estimation scopes. Then, operation, combined with ZDCFT, is performed radar echo in slow time domain, remove coupling. Thereafter, executed along inhibit spurious peaks reinforce true peak. Finally, target estimated from peak position, used construct phase compensation function eliminate RCM DFCM, thus achieving integration. The method without energy loss, suitable low signal-to-noise (SNR) environments. Moreover, be effectively fulfilled chirp-z (CZT), prevents brute-force search. Thus, reaches favorable tradeoff between anti-noise performance computational load. Intensive simulations demonstrate effectiveness proposed method.
